The Cross in CrossFit

I started CrossFit just about one year ago. It has been an amazing year of getting in shape, learning new things, pushing myself, and meeting new friends. I have lost some fat and gained muscle and am in much better shape. Recently, our coach said that he didn't think I would keep coming back. I told him that there were times I wasn't sure if I was either. But I roll out of bed at 5:30am three mornings a week to let him torture me into a being a better person.

Not long ago I read an article entitled The Cross in CrossFit . I must say that I was very disappointed in this article. The Cross means so much more to me as a born again Christian than it does to the man who wrote it. So, that is what has prompted me to start this blog. I will write about CrossFit and how it pertains to all parts of life.

"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue." II Peter 1:2,3
